Additionally, we’re starting to see the less than pretty side of AI now and it’s concerning. Google as a search engine is riddled with inaccurate AI descriptions at the top of search, Pinterest is pretty much unusable if you’re trying to use it for inspo for your next craft project or DIY decorating. I’ve not seen a “real” image come up in search in Pinterest in quite a while now.

TikTok, Reels, and Shorts took over 2024, offering quick bursts of engaging content.
