My Feast or Famine Reality
For over a decade, my business revolved around producing online summits. I was the summit expert, and while that brought in clients, it also left me vulnerable. I had one revenue stream, and when summits were in demand, life was great. But when the demand slowed? It was panic mode.
And trust me – the old adage “make hay while the sun shines” was literally my motto. My family knew that during “summit season” they’d barely see me because I worked so much and so hard to take advantage of the busy time.
I realized that relying on one income source wasn’t just risky—it was exhausting. I needed to change things up, fast.
The Turning Point
In 2023, after some much-needed self-reflection (and let’s be real, a few sleepless nights), I committed to a new direction. I started brainstorming how I could expand my offerings without losing the essence of what made my business special.
I’d been thinking about how to do this for YEARS, feeling stuck, but I didn’t have a way to formula or a game plan until 2023.
The Diversification Game Plan
Step 1: Creating Scalable Products
By the end of 2023, I launched two online courses under my Summits Made Simple brand. These courses weren’t just about making a quick buck—they were designed to serve a broader audience and generate passive income. Fast forward to 2024, and over 600 students had enrolled. These courses became my safety net, freeing up my time and giving me a reliable income stream.
Step 2: Upping My Visibility Game
Visibility is everything. In 2024, I leaned into speaking engagements, bundles, and summits—not as a producer, but as a speaker. I even traveled to networking events, which was completely out of my comfort zone. But guess what? It worked. These efforts brought in new clients and opened doors to opportunities I didn’t even know existed.
Step 3: Expanding My Services
I didn’t stop at summits, they are amazing to work on, I’ve just changed my client base towards working with clients in the multi-6 and 7 figure space. In 2024, I ventured into fractional operations and CMO services. This allowed me to work with a range of clients—from healthcare to law firms—and brought fresh energy and perspectives into my business. Diversifying my client base not only boosted my income but also kept things exciting and challenging.
Step 4: Investing in Long-Term Growth
Here’s where things got even more interesting: Late in 2025, I was offered an ownership stake in a company to come on board as CMO. This move wasn’t just about adding another revenue stream; it was about future-proofing my financial stability. This company is being built with the intention of selling it down the road, creating a major exit strategy for me.
What’s Next for 2025?
I’m not slowing down. This year, I’m launching a course focused on mini bundles, continuing to grow Many Bundles, and adding more fractional clients. My goals are clear: keep scaling, keep diversifying, and keep building.
